Today I used the spectrometer and found out all these weird numbers from different color ink.
Then I also played  bit with photoshop and also iphoto.

questions

1. How do you think the Spectrometer works?

I think it works by the light that is by the color ink and how much it reflects off each other.

2. Were there any unexpected results? What were they?

I think yes because of some that were cool colors with other cool colors.

3. Were there any differences between the different printers?

Yes because some of them printed out a lighter color or darker color of the main colors.

4. Compare the printed color sheet to the one linked in the blog. What differences due you notice in the RGB display versus the CMYK printout.

That the colors from the computer are way lighter and you can see it better.

5. Did you notice the Hex Codes for each color. Would you say Hex codes have more in common with RGB or CMYK? Explain.

I think it has it more with RGB because I cant really find out why it would be similar with the CMYK.

6. Do you think the use of spectrometry is important for publishers? Why or why not?

I just think its important for like printing company's because they might need it a lot, but for publishers, probably also because of printing out different colors.

7. What sort of consequences may arise if spectrometers were not used in publishing?

The colors wouldn't show as nice and there wouldn't be a way of showing different colors.

Today I finished my graph color and then i worked on a picture and see how similar it would look with the other picture. Then I picked my own picture and I edit it and made it look similar.

today I worked with iphoto and then found colors with some type of color calculator I never knew about till now. I think its pretty cool. At first I didn't even understand it but once I played around with it a little, I got the hang of it.

Today, I finished my brochure and my document and maybe edited a little more and i also put the link on one of my posts also. I then, started on google earth for the tour thing we are suppose to do there, and thats about it.

Today I started my brochure and all i pretty much need to do is the writing because I already added the colors to my project at the brochure and also i added the title and pictures so all i gotta add up is the information and where people will go and thats about it. :)
